Actors in Bollywood seem to travel in packs. Bodyguards and security are a definite must for them. But in addition to them, one finds make up men, helpers, errand boys and often in the case of some of our B-Town hotties certain hanger-ons.
Salman Khan
Unarguably Salman Khan arrives with the biggest entourage. From bodyguard Shera to secretary Nadim all arrive with Khan on the sets or at events. Another person who forms a part of Sallu’s inner circle is his secretary Vikas Kapoor. We think being seen with Salman seems to come with a lot of benefits. Think Kamaal Khan, Himesh Reshammiya. It definitely pays to hang with Bollywood’s bad boy. Seccie Vikas Kapoor is incidentally playing a part in Salman’s next film Veer and music composers Sajid Wajid are now involved in almost all of the actor’s films! We can’t help but wonder the reason for that unless of course they are hoping that some of his luck rubs off on them too!
Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh for all his worldwide fan following tries and keeps it simple. Accompanied by his bodyguard for many years now, Yaseen, his right hand man Subhash and serious looking police personnel with guns to scare you, SRK sets out to conquer the hearts of his fans. In SRK’s case, his bodyguards accompany him everywhere - from his dressing room to the studio floor to when he is having his food to when he arrives at his events. Yaseen can be seen towering over all and sundry at any outing concerning King Khan. And with that look that he permanently carries on his face, we don’t think anyone wants to mess with him. Another thing you can always spot where SRK is, is his 555 numbered BMW followed by a police jeep filled with 3-4 guards.
Amitabh Bachchan
Despite being almost the first family of Bollywood, the Bachchans don’t believe in too big an entourage. In fact Amitabh Bachchan only has his bodyguards for company. Same is the case with Aishwarya, Abhishek and Jaya. We hardly ever see them bring their secretary or manager out in public.
Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan hardly steps out and so never feels the need for protection. If arriving for a public gathering, the actor only believes in ample security to protect himself. But if it’s a party that he is heading for, then Aamir flies solo.
Akshay Kumar
Khiladi Kumar often arrives alone with just his driver as company. A couple of bodyguards accompany him into the venue and then vanish into the background till it’s time for the superstar to leave. But then again when you can kick butt so well yourself who really needs any security?!
